I originally sketched this back during the start of the Pandemic in 2020 when the lockdown also closed the printmaking studio back home. It felt like the end was coming, or that we were holding our breath for something worse almost every day. Now, just three years later, that feeling has become so banal we don’t even notice anymore.
Also gondolas were once water-hearses that ferries the dead out of the plague-stricken city, so think about that before you jump in one~

He llegado a un punto de mi vida dónde sólo veo como todos corren, mientras yo sólo estoy existiendo. He llegado a mi punto más bajo dónde sin importar a que dirección vaya, ya no proceso sí sentirme triste o feliz por ello. Estoy en ese punto de mi vida dónde sea lo que sea que suceda, no importa, simplemente lo viviré y dejaré que pase.
